My sister is a grade-school teacher. She says many of today's kids are a bunch of whiners now, self-centered little sh*ts who need the latest pair of Nikes or want to star on that commercial-laden stream of trash MTV. ......A financial reckoning would not be unwelcome; perhaps America can return to simpler, happier times. Maybe then we'll be able to wash away our current collective fantasy and come to grips with the real world.

Where in Sweden? It was working, but it is not anymore. There are lots of bad examples how old people that should be treated with respect are first forgotten by their children and second by the government. It is just a shame.

What don't you understand about Sweden? The entire country has a system built up around taking care of its old people and their integrity. Get a clue. Young people should be relieved of this burden to take care of their parents.
I lived there for 6 years and plan on retiring there.

Being Swedish and lived there for more than 35 years I think I have a saying at it....![]()
It had a good system, still is a good system but many things are detoriating fast and the elderly care I would not say is a good system anymore. You would definitely want to do some more reading, especially if you are planning to retire there with the help of the government elderly care.

Compared to America...I do not need to research. YOU ARE WRONG.
