The bolded and underlined bits are by me. You contradict yourself. You speak of the rare and minor side effects of the polio vaccine, but then out of nowhere claim you are immune to polio.

You complain about people fainting. Ohhh, big deal. You complain about lasting shoulder pain. Big deal. You complain about an allergic reaction. Big deal.

Because of that, you think it is in your best interest to risk becoming paralyzed for life, rather than suffer a fainting spell or soreness in the arm?

You are NOT naturally immune to polio, dude. Just get the damned vaccine!

You are mischaracterizing what I said. You also don’t seem to understand CDC guidance on polio vaccines. Again, if you had the full vaccination either as a child or as a adult, the CDC is NOT recommending another polio vaccine for that person.

The virus that causes polio is much more stable, as in much less frequent mutations of concern than Covid, meaning only one proper vaccination for polio is needed for a lifetime. With Covid, by the time vaccine manufacturers get their vaccine out for a particular strain, a new Covid strain is of concern is well underway to becoming established. Hopefully those who already received the Covid vaccination and those who have developed natural immunity to a particular strain will still have some protection against new Covid strains, even though they still may get sick. hopefully the “Novelty” of Covid in the global population diminishes leading to more effective immune responses to subsequent infections of new Covid variants.
