This sitting on my hands for several days waiting to see what happens is very much "not me." However, if these two trades with CADJPY and USDCAD work out, I might have to just get used to it.

UPDATE: The above statement is false thus far. I ended up pocketing my gains before the two pairs pulled back any farther. I will therefore reenter the positions once that assets begin to advance again.

You might want to sell GBPJPY and especially GBPUSD the next time you get a nice pullback to the upside.

These two look like they are on the verge of falling, but I'm not in these trades, so I'll just have to monitor them to see how far they drop, if at all.

Three years ago I was reconciled to the fact that swing trading was not for me. In my case, the Forex market was simply too haphazard to anticipate what it might do beyond a couple of hours, and I completely gave up trying to solve that puzzle. But, thanks be to God, it looks like this year, the problem sort of solved itself organically, without any effort in that department on my part, simply by following the development of my trading system to is natural conclusion...

As one would expect, I am once again short CADJPY and long USDCAD.

I cashed out of these two positions a second time, and in retrospect, this might have been a somewhat smart move. The ebb and flow of the Forex markets is just too dang wild and USDCAD is back down to today's open! (So, I'm long the pair once again, going back for thirds now.)

Three years ago I was reconciled to the fact that swing trading was not for me. In my case, the Forex market was simply too haphazard to anticipate what it might do beyond a couple of hours, and I completely gave up trying to solve that puzzle. But, thanks be to God, it looks like this year, the problem sort of solved itself organically, without any effort (in that department) on my part, simply by following the development of my trading system to is natural conclusion.

So then, I have finally proven to myself that I have arrived at a point where I CAN swing trade successfully. For there is no reason why the methodology I used over the past 24 hours cannot or will not work week after week, or at least month after month. However, it is also clear that the fact I CAN do this does not mean that I SHOULD do it.

As with position trading, a swing trader will have to sit by and watch as his or her positions yo-yo in and out of profitability. However, trading with NPP allows me to trade with such precision that I can enter at the start of a given leg, exit at its completion, let price pull back, and then repeat the same thing, doubling the amount of profit generated over the same region of the price chart without experiencing any drawdown.

This ability makes swing trading and position trading a bit silly for an active trader such as myself. There is really no reason for me to do it, so I'm not going to anymore. By using NPP to take advantage of setups as they occur, I should be able to realize results similar to this on a weekly basis. Especially since this was over only the last two days...

You don't have a "position" to defend. What you have are the results of 13 consecutive trades, of no statistical significance whatsoever. When you have the results from 13,000 (or perhaps even just 1,300) trades, showing the same thing, then you'll have "a position to defend" (and it will be an interesting one to defend, because it will conflict with the findings of just about every independent, objective, systematic, statistically significant research-trial which has ever been published on this subject!).

Having now completed the development of Numerical Price Prediction, I was thinking about how, back in May of 2018, a member of this forum who went by the moniker "Xela" tried to convince me that I should exit the path I was taking in my quest to perfect the trading system I was working on, stating that what I was doing conflicted with "the findings of just about every independent, objective, systematic, statistically significant research-trial which has ever been published on this subject!"

But alas, such effort was fruitless, especially with my taking comfort in the knowledge that sometimes God chooses what is foolish in the world to shame the wise (1 Corinthians 1:27).

So then, perhaps the path I am on now might eventually lead to my being more-or-less comfortable financially speaking. If so, may verses 17 through 19 in the sixth chapter of the first book of Timothy be a reminder to me:

As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.
