my bank account got robbed by the European Commission. Over €700k lost!

The only people who keep these types of amounts in Cypriot banks are associated with the Russian mafia. While my heart bleeds for their losses, I am pretty sure they'll rise from the ashes and make out OK in the end.

Peil, why don't you and a few of the other Bitcoin crazed ET members create your own bitcoin website/forum?

I feel your pain, but Baron likes it because it creates TRAFFIC, and let's face it, after a decade on ET, it is the same old same old. Maybe ask him if you can ban subforums...

I promise you BTC will crash this year and chat about it will die down. Also ask the OP not to post irrelevant threads, so there are less things to read....

Put your promise into a hard provable short trade, or go Troll somewhere else....
You just don't have the balls!

Put your

offtopic drivel somewhere else... :)

If bitcoin closes above $800 MtGox by the end of year I will stop posting here for a year. Fair enough???

Nhaaa...then we still have to read your troll-posts for a full year.

Nope...no balls

The EU commission didn't rob anything from you. Your bank effectively went bankrupt, had to restructure and the other european countries did choose not to bail you out.

You know, the Germans not picking up the tab for every southern fk up is not the same thing as robbery.

Quoted, will revisit end of 2014.

Dude seriously, do you get paid for these posts?

How many examples do you want where the bitcoin wallet got robbed? At least the money in the bank is secured...

"How many examples do you want where the bitcoin wallet got robbed?'

your response is a typical non factual ET response. why don't you respond directly to the OP's post, instead of innuendo, line by line.

"At least the money in the bank is secured.."
secured by what? government promises?
money in your bank account can be seized at any time by US government.
explain how the OP is exaggerating an 80% loss.

Quote from clacy:

Maybe ET could keep bitcoin posts off the front page, like the politcal, chitchat sections, etc

your post is another shoot from the hip response without facts or explanation.

difficult to understand the possibility that they didn't diversify their holding initially or when the financial situation of cyprus was all over the news.
