Yes, and I have to thank y'all for prompting me to send out my resume.
I should be able to save up a chunk now, and simultaneously trade both my personal and funded account. Needless to say, my mom has a lot off her mind now which is the most important thing for me.
Excellent. Stop trading for the next year. Take a year off, and get back into the normal groove of life. I'm serious. Don't even think about trading. Let your current eval expire at that "prop firm".
Just focus on your job, and do it well.

Remember that the only way to make profits consistently is treating like a profession with discipline. Stop bouncing around and behaving like a kid because market doesn't care if you have a tantrum.
Don't overtrading and don't forcing a trade to take. These bad habits are a big no-no to any day trader or scalper.
Learn how to avoid whipsaw actions. This usually happens before Friday afternoon, after a strong trend day or before any major announcement. There are tools that would help you to recognize sideways if you search hard enough.
My only 'secret' to maintain extremely high winrate day in, day out for years (I posted many daily PnL screenshots here on ET many months ago) is by taking trades when PA shows momentum. Again, if you search hard enough, there are tools that would help you to identify when PA is about to take off. I can't stress this enough if you want to be a profitable day trader or scalper. No matter what strategy that you have or what your trading style is, you won't achieve high returns if you can't distinguish between momentum v.s. sideways. That said, I always go in like a lion when momentum shows up and exit immediately when it dies in order to protect profits.

Any trading will be done 100% outside of work hours. The last thing I need is to be juggling work and trading. This job could be comfy enough so that I work, save and trade for like 5 years......continue muay thai training at night.....and finally fucking date and get married since I'm turning 44 this month.
I have the right strategy. Now, with the comfort of not worrying about rent and food, I can realize my full potential.
I have 1 week of trading before work starts so I should be able to accomplish a good percentage of my evaluation profit target.
I'm that guy. Doesn't show any potential for 20 years. Then all of a sudden the next day starts performing like a well-oiled machine.
I needed this "kick in the teeth" to wake up.
That means no open positions during work hours.

If that is your plan, then just stop trading right now, and put it in a grave, bury it. You get married? All your plans go RIGHT out the window. A wife will rock your world, and you will do nothing but die in trading, unless the woman you marry is also a trader.
Heed this advice. Coonsider carefully your life plan. Just focus on your job right now, and get really really good at it. Stop thinking of getting married, and stop thinking of fucking trading. 44 YO means noting. Nobody gives a shit.
Trust me. Build up your bankroll, and stop this marriage nonsense! If you get "married"? Unless it is with someone like Cathie Wood, you will set your trading dreams back 20 years.
