Ironically, all the Global Warming adherents open themselves to this argument every time they say "all deniers must be being paid by the oil companies". If they are saying that income and employment is overiding the science for the scientists who are "deniers", then certainly the same must be true for the scientists who are "believers" - the same human nature is present in both cases.

So, the Global Warming Adherents are themselves removing the entire scientific basis for their viewpoint by claiming that scientists' personal conflicts of interest must be taken into account. All climatologists have an automatic conflict of interest...

Good post, the same story gets repeated over and over and over again yet some people will never get it!!

Have you heard of the Kyoto protocols. Did you read the paper today about Britan setting carbon limits independently of anyone else's decisions.

It's not "just" the UN. It never was the UN and you obviously have some sort of other agenda as you continue to try to spin the conversation. Not once did I say that the people in the film were on the oil industries payroll. What I said was "Researchers have been funded by oil companies for years to disprove the theory and have failed."

its not absurd, it was mentioned in mainstream press articles propaganda....go down in chit chat, we actually discussed the gW issue ad nauseam, there are countless threads with tons of info from both sides of the argument. and i am not spinning what u say, i am actually saying the Un is on a mission to introduce carbon related taxes, u accused me of having an agenda and i told u the Un has an agenda. the people interviewed in the documentary have different views and they are backed by research, u obviously dont agree with them, doesnt mean u are right and they are wrong.

That is a rather misguided argument. A need for climatologists will exist as long as there is a climate to follow, since climatology is the meteorological study of climates and their phenomena. On the other hand, those who deny global warming and/or its causes will only exist as long as there are oil companies and other ecological shit disturbers with deep pockets. The difference between you and this latter group is that they are mercenaries who get paid to spew bullshit, whereas you are among their gullible audience who eagerly eats it up. May I suggest a breath mint?
