Clearly, you haven't read the expose's of this flick that were linked in the thread. Why not go back and link them and then come and defend the flick then?
Anyway, there have been a number of studies done to show that solar warming does not account for more than a fraction of the global warming we have seen. That particular factoid is just wrong -- it's also another talking point from the conservative side that I have seen before.
Why not do a bit of research, think about the issue a bit, and add some value when you post, hmmm?
The globes climate changes over such a long period of time. Any substantial climatic changes would probably not happen until far into the future. I am certainly not an expert but I have heard so many different theories and discussions on this topic that I could not really give an accurate depiction of what will happen but i'm sure that all the man-made gas emissions are not helping the situation. If the climate is changing beyond natural variations then we will have to put restrictions on industrial activity as well as other things.
this is infact correct, i dont know what's there to argue. u may still think there's a reason why co2 lags and that it still contributing but its true it lags overall. also the whole solar system is heating up including pluto, mars has even developed another huge hurricane stain in the surface. so solar system is bloody warming and sustantially. u may argue that that alone aint enough to have warmed the earth so much but it is pretty hard to reconcile with slum dunk man made gW.

No it's not hard to reconcile. You just do the math. The difference is large. That's why people are getting nervous. Really, if you want to discuss it "intelligently" spend a bit of time researching the facts of the matter. I had this argument out about 6 months ago with my dad and had to take a look at all the same recycled claims we are seeing in this thread.

of course it is hard to reconcile, if all planets are warming means there's a pattern, and that the sun is playing a part....maybe the only part. i dont know. since u did the necessary research, how much of a difference is there between changes in earth's temps and mars or other plantes.
