Every computer I have owned in my life has had issues with heat. If you have a desktop, the cooling solution is easy. You can just take off the side panel and place a huge window fan blowing directly into it. You can buy all sorts of gadgets.
The laptop a little trickier. When Im at home, I take out the battery while using the laptop and always elevate the rear. I have a cheap cooling fan underneath providing ventilation.
I dont enjoy the sounds of any of these machines therefore I try to place them as far as I can. There are ways to put the desktop in one room and you access it while in the next. So, in that case, you can just open it up and stick a large fan right there airing it out. My brother in law has it in his basement which always seems to be very cool no matter what time of year.
