Proven formula, is it? How many countries did this "proven formula" work in that had hundreds of millions of guns in circulation? How many countries have millions of illegal guns in circulation?

Let's suppose we elected President Nine Ender (and assuming we didn't slit our wrists from despair because of it). How would you go about banning guns in the United States?

There is little to no correlation between gun supply and total crime rates.
Just look at Tao's recent thread on the UK being the most violent nation in the EU.
