The hijacking of the term is easy to prove - there is literature on this subject. As your friend Momo once admitted he was an Ashkenazi (Khazaar), which means his grand grand grand ancestor had not lived in ancient Egypt, had not traveled with Moses to Kanaan. His grand grand grand father had not spoken Hebrew (a Semitic language). He spoke Yiddish which is NOT a Semitic language, but a Germanic (European) language.
