Music compilation to trade by

While reading the "Black Friday" post, I noticed that marketsurfer referred to a song of that title as being a good "Trading Song".

I thought it might be fun to create a Trading Compilation CD containing songs whose titles sum up the "trading experience".

I take first dibs on the most obvious tracks:

1. Money - Pink Floyd - 1973
2. I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For - U2 - 1987
3. Helter Skelter - The Beatles - 1968
4. The Times, They Are A-changin' - Bob Dylan - 1964

Apologies if it's already been done elsewhere - didn't research it ... :)

Here are two more, suitable or not, depending on your trading experiences:

- Highway to Hell - AC/DC - 1979
- Stairway to Heaven - Led Zeppelin - 1971

I believe I am showing my age...

:)

How about "Day Tripper" with alternate lyrics:

'Cause I'm a day trader.
One day ticket, yeah.
I hold it only so long,
Then I'm out, yes I'm out!

The market has interesting parallels with music. Look at sheet music, and compare it with a chart.....many similarities. Music has recurring patterns, harmonics, scales, a beat, shifts from major to minor, and many other characteristics. Markets all exhibit these exact same phenomena. There are many market lessons to be learned from music. Personally, I like to trade to classical music, changing the music to fit the tempo of the market. It works for me.
