Is it ok to run multiple monitors connected to the same pc using different resolution for each?

yes,
go to display properties>setting> click on the monitors u want to change resolution> set resolution

for health reason i would not recommend it. adjusting ur eyes to the different resolutions will cause alot of headache, at least for me

Thanks all. The reason is I have different size monitors. I have a couple 21 inch monitors (using 1600 x 1200) and want to add a third LCD with only 1280 x 1024 res.

The 21 inchers are CRTs with 1600 x 1200 and the LCD is the one with 1280 x 1024.
