MultiCharts with AMP System executing trades on its own?

There is also a chance that your computer being breached which is also very hard for almost everyone to diagnose.
That tonight crossed my mind and is terrifying, but someone breaching my computer just to execute trades and crush the account doesn't make sense to me

Are you on the free version offered by AMP? I bought a full time license MC way back in 2004 for like $300.00. They were just starting out. I've personally never and any issues.

Who deleted these log files?
That is the weird thing is that I had never touched the log files and don't even have the know how about how to access them. So I am not sure why they weren't there. It seems like there were log files yesterday though.

Wanted to post here, since this is at least the second time I have had this issue, and I wanted to see if anyone else had ever had similar issues. MultiCharts placed trades totally using up my margin with no auto strategies running or no manual executions on my part, utilizing all of my margin, and wiping out my account. 2nd time this has happened, and to add insult to injury, they charge crazy liquidation fees on top. Is this a scam MultiCharts and AMP are running? They seem genuinely interested in trying to diagnose what happened, but all systems logs seem to point to me and my system making these trades, so it seems highly unlikely I will receive a refund of the monies this craziness has cost me, because I don't have a strong legal case according to a few attorneys I have spoken with. If anyone has had similar issues, feel free to PM me to discuss.
Hello futurestraderNJ,

We are sorry to hear about the losses you have incurred, but we are confident they were not caused by a platform malfunction.

Our techs have studied the available logs from your PC and have not identified any issues or abnormalities in the operation of the platform. There is no evidence that the orders were “placed by themselves” or that some “not manual” activity took place.

We cannot state what was happening, in your system/PC or other applications, at that particular moment and if it performed well or not, but we can guarantee that our application worked correctly.

Thousands of users are actively trading in MultiCharts everyday and have been doing so for more than 11 years and as you can see, for yourself, none of them have reported anything similar.

Hate to say it FT but I tend to believe the above, are you a new trader? It's much more likely you accidentally messed something up than some grand conspiracy against you by a well known broker and software provider.

You know, I hate to say it, but it's not like you're using "bob's broker software". Something is amiss...either your story or you're PC's security.

Absolutely 100% sure it was not me. On one day, I wasn't even at my monitor. And, I have been trading with many brokerages and platforms over a 15 year period with no similar issues.
