I use QT and am so impressed with their "customer service", however, it does not support easy language and lacks a few minor tools that I desire. Amibroker has been extremely responsive as well.
Following this thread has confirmed my belief in the value of "Service" over price. It appears when MC cloned Tradestation, they neglected to take this most important feature into consideration. I will stick with QT for now and look closer at amibroker and tradestation. Thanks again for reminding me of the most important feature in any product.
good luck with TradeStation. They may have a huge team and resources, but try getting through to someone when you really need them - any cursory search of the TS forums will reveal that my prior experience of being on hold for 3 hrs+ while their system is down and your losing money on open positions is not an isolated one.
While MultiCharts is not a broker ala TS, whenever I've actually needed genuine support for a problem they pick up the phone quickly and have always been able to promptly and courteously resolve my issues.
Service support from MC in that respect has been first rate IMO.
Features and responding to feature requests is a different aspect altogether.
