I'm keeping my lifetime license: I love Multicharts. But my dad's eyesight is shot now, and his trading days are behind him. So his lifetime license is ready for a new home.

This is the EasyLanguage version.

CAN YOU TRANSFER OWNERSHIP OF THE LICENSE TO ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL, AND MULTICHARTS AGREES? OTHERWISE, YOU CAN'T JUST GIVE ME THE YOUR LOGIN CREDENTIALS, BECAUSE THEN YOU CAN CONTINUE TO LOGIN AS WELL...???
 
Multicharts does not allow license transfers. They don't even allow you to change the email address so that upgrade and bug fixes can be sent to another user.
Also no one really knows how their DRMS (Digital Rights Management System) works.....as it is likely their best kept secret.

Finally, the above post seems to indicate "something" happens every month....so I have a funny feeling that a transfer of a lifetime license will work for 1 month at most.
 
From the horse's mouth:
As stated in our license agreement, lifetime licenses are for non-concurrent use; they are non-transferable and can only be used by User who purchased the license.
User cannot sell or barter a lifetime license; in the event this condition is violated, Company reserves the right to terminate the license at its own discretion.
