Muh Free Speech: Florida to ban MATH textbooks

DeSantis wouldn't think this would get him political traction unless most voters agreed with him. The textbook publishers will need to please the customer or it will go elsewhere.

He will get conservatives to agree with him of course but that doesn't bode well for national level politics, culture wars will motivate the Dem base as much as the Repub base.

As far as textbooks, they will have to cater to other states as well, and I doubt Florida is that great of an education market in the first place.

These are primary school textbooks, and Florida is the third most populated state.
