As much as I disagree with her on so many issues.

I do think she thinks she sees herself as being true to her values.
I think her slants are just part of her worldview and she can't help it.

Whereas I sense that Chris Matthews is far less liberal than he acts. I am pretty sure he is a sellout.

and I know Olbermann was part schtick.

I bet he could turn off the lefty crap as quickly as Greta and Geraldo did.

So it is no surprise if she issues a retraction or an apology... she takes herself and her job seriously.

Actually liberalism is more of a mental disorder than anything else. I agree that many liberals are dimwitted and seemingly incapable of logical thought, but there are quite a few who are highly intelligent. The universities, the media, the foundations, the legal profession, even Wall Street are full of them.
