[QUOTE="Scataphagos,. I heard it again last night... how the cop "slammed her to the floor", but the video evidence contradicts that notion. He actually resisted against her downward momentum to lessen any impact with the floor. IOW... while still trying to subdue her and control the situation, he was also trying to prevent her from being injured. Nobody's talking about that..... except me, apparently.
My intention in starting this thread was to point out the sensationalization and exaggeration of the MSM's reporting. I know, the story line "played well for ratings", but it was erroneous. Perhaps the cop could have been less forceful, but he probably got pissed when she hit him in the face. (If you were in the cop's shoes, you might have been likewise.) I understand... "she's a girl and he's a big strong cop", and "if it had been my daughter, I'd be outraged"... but that's a different issue.[/QUOTE]

Really the cop did not have fear reason to subdue her. She did not have weapon, she did not fight him, she did not scream to him.
I do not see where the cop have fear of the girl when he go to her desk.
Too I do not see the cop "resisted against her downward momentum to lessen any impact with the floor." like you say. I see this man is ridiculous to respond with violence to the girl in school who use the cell phone in disrespect, but is not dangerous to people. I see this man is really something stupid and angry.
