MSM On The Cop In Spring Valley... TOTAL HORSESHIT!!

I never said I supported this cop. I merely asked the question of you and Jimmie about how many times is acceptable that a cop ask for compliance before he makes them comply. Neither you nor he has answered my question. And somehow this means i support the cop in the video.

Oh my bad, I didn't know you asked me that question. I think 2 is more than sufficient, it's the way that he made her comply that's at the heart of this. So I ask you, should him slamming her to the ground, ripping her out of her seat and then dragging her the way he should have made her comply? considering she wasn't armed or a danger to others. I apologize, I didn't mean to imply that you were ok with what the cop did.

Absolutely not. The way he reacted was with anger - and he should have known better. A cop has a responsibility to the community to not abuse his/her power. But the civilian has a responsibility to obey the cop on the first request (in almost every single circumstance). Failure of both student and cop led us to this point, and cop was fired. Student will have minimal impact and be emboldened (as will other students now).

Tao, you even got your own tea baggers disagreeing with you.

thats a real feat you mutt

There's no disagreement at all. There was misunderstanding. We both agree with each other 100%. Wanna try again?

El Cubano, this idiot thinks you're a Tea Bagger. :) He classifies those who are pro-gun as Tea Bagger, regardless of all other political views.

So I ask you, should him slamming her to the ground

I saw the video at least a dozen times... he did NOT "slam her to the floor".

The desk got turned over backwards... don't know whether he did that intentionally or in the scuffle it just worked out that way.

But if you watch the slowmo video, he makes an effort for her NOT to slam into the floor and to be merely laid down on the floor.

If we're all going to get pissy over this, we should at least have the facts straight.

She is a young student and he is an adult cop. I think the responsibility to make sure this didn't happen was on him. He got what he deserved.

I don't have a daughter, but that's beside the point.

If she were my kid, I'd like to think I'd see it this way.... she deserved something... maybe less than she got, maybe not. But the cop didn't injure her.

I'd also think my kid would have been raised to respect adults and authority just as was I.... and mine would never have behaved like this.

She doesn't deserve to have any excuses made for her. She was out of line.

One of the things kids are supposed to learn as they grow up (hopefully from their parents) is that there are consequences for your behavior.
