Opinions are easy to hold, but qualified opinions, those shaped by experience and responsibility, are what truly matter.
The things you dismiss or just don't see now are often the ones you come to understand only when leadership is thrust upon you.
"Qualified opinions"... really? That's a bit of a contradiction, isn't it?
At one point even the most expert of experts disagree. If you don't understand that then you'll keep looking for a "leader" or have "leadership thrust upon you".
Otherwise, leadership can be taken by the reigns and an individual may begin to live a fulfilling and self directed life. So, it sounds like you're going down the "victim-hood" route to me and it's not a healthy condition IMHO.
I hope we're just talking past each other slightly. A person's worldview depends on basic definitions and when you say "qualified" it sounds like there's an elected board somewhere that gives a stamp of approval. But, reviewing your reply makes me rethink that somewhat.

Are you saying opposing viewpoints are not allowed or that you just don't agree?
Why not simply acknowledge that people are allowed to disagree? Is that asking too much?
