An error message is being displayed when I attempt to update the "startup" programs in the system configuration utility.
I click start/run then enter "msconfig" & click the "startup" tab. Then if I make any changes & click "OK" I get an error message:
"access denied you must have administrator privileges to make updates" or something to that effect. Then I click OK & it DOES make the change. So I can make the change I need but it's just annoying to get the error message.
I am running XP Home & I DO have administrative privileges. Has anyone seen this error ?? Could it be spyware ?? I have no other problems with my machine & I only noticed this happening after I had some issues trying to uninstall/reinstall musicmatch.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
