mrmarket

Quote from dbphoenix:

It's real simple. If you want to talk about trades and trading, you will likely pick up a very nice following (if Jack Hershey can do it, anybody can do it).

But if you continue to behave like a clown, you don't do your case any good, and you invite exactly those reponses which you claim to want to avoid.

its nice to have you around to state the obvious :p

First of all, I don't consider $$$mrmarket$$$ a trader at all, but rather a fundamentals based investor.

Secondly, people here seem to have trouble seperating his (dare I say obnoxious?) personality from his investment methods & results. One does not detract from the other.

They are detracting from each other. The pompous ass is standing in front of his alleged returns. It's tough to see around those monstrous 19 inch biceps to the massive returns.

I guess some threads got deleted because he seems to be promoting a website or pitching something since some have referred to his "system". Wonder why anyone has a problem with this market master showing up to share his great secrets? Why, just last week Baron kicked Neiderhoffer off ET for bragging so much about his returns...and that damn Buffett has been banned since the 80's from ET. You shoulda heard some of the bragging he used to do - and 20 inch biceps back in the day, before all the Dairy Queen and Coke caught up with him.

Right.

I've posted this before...There's an old Talmudic saying:

"A bottle with only a few coins in it makes a great deal of noise when you shake it.... but a bottle that's completely full makes almost no sound at all."

So yeah, $$$mrmarket$$$ probably isn't God's gift to market students....however, sometimes there are exceptions. Muhammad Ali talked about his fighting the same way $$$mrmarket$$$ talks about his trading- but Ali really could back it up with genuine talent.

So you never know...

and I can back up all of my claims..they are all documented and timestamped on Yahoo Groups. The evidence is irrefutable.

I think that people who do well in the market like to cheer others on. I think people who do poorly trading in the market are jealous, disgruntled and bitter and would rather not read threads about superior traders.

Just my opinion of course.

YOU ARE HUGE!!!

They are scared of your bench press:D

I think they should join your Yahoo! group and find out for themselves!!!

RM,

loved that quote. Its a keeper.

For every Muhammad Ali, there are a million who talk shit just like him.

Very very few jars are full of coins my friend.

A popular Yahoo screen name does not equate to wealth or success. Tokyo Joe had many followers too.

This is sort of easy reading once you block Mrmarket. I sort of had this mindset that if I blocked somebody I would miss the whole thread but I seem to have missed very little and turned it into easy reading.
