...and I'm still waiting for conciliatory remarks from those of you who said my positions in COH and DHI would be busts....I'd gladly admit that I'm wrong, in the unlikely event it ever happens.

Buying a stock and selling it is a trade. I feel that by doing this I am a trader. Is there a limit on the time for opening and closing a position to be dubbed a trader??

If the "trade" falls under the cateogory of long term capital gains, it was an investment, not a trade.

You would hold stinkers for years if it meant negatively impacting your "streak."
