....By releasing a video. What a creepy old man. Long on some put options are we?

Maybe it's a ploy to create an excuse for exiting HLF catastrophuk. Maybe he wants to redeem himself in case he goes down as the guy that tried to activist-save a criminal conspiracy that ruined countless poor and vulnerable people?

This guy does not make any moves that are not predatory in nature so I personally don't buy the good guy angle. Cal me skeptical.

Nothing he does will save him from the doom of Herbalife.

Why are you demeaning this well accomplished market trader billionaire?

It is a dirty business, don't go looking for saints, wrong place for that.
 
Icahn had been bearish on high yield for about a year already. The video probably just reiterates his longstanding views. Nothing new really. He did once say if you want a friend on Wallstreet, get a dog.

Video is coming out tomorrow, he has been very repetitive in what he has been saying for about a year now, this video is just probably him going on record for the last time before the next crisis comes....I agree with what he is saying about whats to come in these markets and that the fed has backed themselves into a corner with no way out!

actually I hope Carl Ichan turn out to be a saint, if he does not or he does-he tend$ to be right much of the time.Ever looked at a 1 year chart of SPY, 2 year chart of SPY, like on IBD website of ANYWHERE??Ever looked on a 1 year candle chart=price?? That's what ''the market thinks-votes'' I disagree with'' its a dirty business comment. Because I feel like it, why do you ask? Perhaps it has not occurred to you that somebody may not share your opinion of the man.
 
He's got something really big planned in his energy holdings, something around 10% of CHK, 8% of FCX and 11.43% of LNG. Should be an interesting outcome over the 5 yr plus horizon.
