This is a tight channel with multiple wedge tops failing. I would think that before we see a strong reversal leading to a correction we will see a broad bull channel (less slope) to form or a range. Once we get 20 or more sideways to down bars then the odds for a reversal...correction...increase. Once we get 30 to 40 bars sideways to down then the subsequent BO has a 50/50 chance of going bullish or bearish. And the odds for a correction increase.
 
Don't forget that every bull run makes bears stronger, @volpri. Technically, quantitatively speacking, it's called mean reversal.

You mean like the bull and bull fighter? The more the bull gets stuck...more blood...weaker he gets...and fighter (the bears) gets stronger and gains the upper hand?

I just back from Mexico Tuesday. A near 5 week trip. The land of bullfights. It is a bloody sport to the bitter end. Kinda of like trading.......
 
20 bars sideways to down = bull get stuck..bleeding out..bears loading up...gonna push south. 50/50 still bull could win or bull fighter could win...BO south of the range...means bull has fallen to his knees and will soon flop over dead and bull fighter (bears) wins. Until another bull enters the ring.
 
No. Spain is the land of bullfights, @volpri. Not Mexico. Saying that Mexico is the land of bullfights is like saying that US-english is the language of Shakespeare. It's very much incongruous indeed.

True but Mexico got it from Spain and has become its own land of the bullfights. Much like USA came from GB the land of the winged lion. Lost it’s wings and they morphed into an eagle.
