Mozilla Thunderbird - how do I transfer?

Hi there,

I have just bought a lenovo T61 and so far it seems OK.

I copied my mozilla thunderbird folder from my old machine and now I am wondering how I am going to transfer my mail from CD to the new machine.

I tried dropping the old folder on a new downloaded one without success.

Any bright ideas will be well received
