Moving Trains, Falling Knives, Death And Super Crosses

Quote from Robert Yanks:

The way you are using the terms "Never try to catch a falling knife or step in front of a moving train" are contrary to the trading world.

Not really, if price is falling, why would you buy? If price is rising, why would you sell?

They have a saying in the Army. Do not try to be a hero. All the heroes are dead.:)

I believe the "step in front of a moving train" is the dual of "don't try to catch a falling knife", i.e., don't short a stock that is obviously in a powerful uptrend.
