Moving into an apartment as a trader...

Quote from wee man:

jmowery,

Why dont you just go out and TRY and get a place to live, asking everything on a bb is like paper trading, just get out there and knock on doors, man. Thats real live experience...if you keep asking questions all you will get is opinions. get out tonight and start looking.

P.S. you could always stick an ad in a newspaper, say your a gigilo or somethin, you might get free board....

I ask this question 24 hours ago and I'm supposed to start knocking on doors tonight. lol, Chill!!!

I'm not planning on moving until beginning of next year anyways.

I just wanted to know what to look for, I got the info I needed, I'm done with the apartment stuff now.

I'm now interested in building good credit and finding a good credit card that I won't get screwed on. That is probably going to be even more confusing.

Some of the posts on et give me a pain in the head

Some of the posts on et give me a pain in the ass

Very seldom do I get both

Maybe your confusing the thread with your love life.

Could anyone help me out with getting a secured credit card?

http://www.bankofamerica.com/creditcards/?template=secured_plat_visa
There is one by bank of america.

That is one by Capital One.

The one by Bank of America seems like it would be better in my case?

Anyone have any advice?

Let me get that straight.

I put $500 into an account, then I can charge anything up to $500?

So I sign up for card, put $500. I go buy my $400 XBox 360 and make monthly payments on it (How do you determine the minimumx and maximum you can pay on something?) and then I'm building up credit, correct?

Is that basically how this works?
