nobody forces you to read him.

You're right of course. And the odds on marketsurfer remaining banned until 2014 are very poor indeed. I'd bet anything that surfer is on the phone to Baron as we speak.

Don't do it, Baron. Keep the genie in the bottle for once.

He had to go. He might be a good guy outside of here.....but the "persona" on here was a huge problem. Deterred many real traders from posting here.....

Baron gave him a zillion chances....

considering the quality of posters on ET the 2nd poll option is ridiculous, ET should incrementally add new features based solely on user feedback

"solely" that is nonsensical. ET is not a democracy.

You'd think that, but as this thread has detailed many times over: Putting him on ignore doesn't stop him from derailing threads you want to read.

This very thread for instance.

But... but... now Lucrum will be free at last to post all those scintillating, profound insights and spot-on market calls he's been afraid to offer up before because of Surf... You wouldn't want to miss that excellent content, would you?... I can hardly wait myself!
Anna sweetie, with a new baby you must have better things to do than defend Surfboy...

But it is a bit sad he's gone. And the banter on his threads is fall-down funny at times.

Good bye Surfey, at least for the day or so it will take to figure out your new alias!

Good trading to all.

you are a real tough guy bringing his wife into the conversation, sweetie.

It's been my understanding that his wife had been/is using the Rod King alias. At least that's what I've been told by a few sources.

She's always been in the conversation. If she can comment, I can comment.

you call them as see it, from a distance.
you are a tough guy. it is clear.

Quote from zdreg:

I've had my differences with marketsurfer over his hero worship of timothy sykes, bordering on him being a sycophant. basically he refused to produced sykes track record and became testy and verbose in his refusal + resorting to some verbal con tricks. it goes with the territory.
however, he is knowledgeable about markets. being repetitious can be a fault but that is no reason to ban him.

certainly the fact that there have been "a ridiculous number of complaints" is also no reason to ban him. all iconoclasts are ridiculed and in the old days were burned at the stake. for some of us the new year is coming up. it is time for forgiveness. why don't you cut him some slack?

There were more than enough reasons to ban him. Quit your whining and find a better cause.
