This paragraph?
Yes, I appreciate the overwhelming sense of frustration with Surf and his ilk, if indeed there are any quite like him here. The solution to his behaving like an absolute idiot is to deal with him, not for the managers of this site to abrogate their responsibility.
I'm still waiting for specific examples of your claim.

Interesting choice of paragraph, since the original question was,
"Interesting, I agree with your premise. But how does marketsurfer derail threads?"
which pointed to another paragraph. Guess you re-read it, recognised that I was not saying you derail threads, and did a quick switch. Typical, but fine.
You behave like an absolute idiot by;
1) consistently and repeatedly, in dozens of threads, proclaiming that TA does not work.
2) when provided with examples of successful TA traders, stating that they achieved success in previous decades, and since markets have changed, it cannot be done today. You provide no proof that markets have changed beyond 'so and so said markets are different today'.
3) claiming that solo retail traders cannot succeed without prop experience.
4) when provided with evidence that TA works today (eg Sykes) and that individuals do succeed today (eg the Japanese trader), switching tack and then returning with the same drivel all over again.
5) alternatively, engaging in semantics, to wit, claiming that TA works, but not if it is the only thing used, so if it works then it is due to money management, trade management, etc.
6) claiming that you only do all this to save newbies from the TA gurus who claim never to have losing days, yet you do not save your bile for those claims but intrude on every discussion on anything TA related with your standard spiel. Even when there is no claim of never having a losing day, you still come in and spew your usual bile.
7) accusing others of being stealth vendors, when in fact you are the one who blatantly does so, like when you posted a link to the Goodboy article on the market top with the comment "This guy knows what he is talking about". Said article contained a link to a subscription service, Dividend Trifecta if I recall.
8) displaying a complete lack of integrity as in saying if the price drivers are wrong, no more calls, then going back on your word saying it's all just theatre.
Like the punk kid who keeps baiting the dog through the gate, you go around irritating anyone who wants to have a serious discussion on TA. But as was pointed out in this thread, you are selective about who you bait and where you pull your stunts, because you are careful to avoid the ACD thread. We all know why.
You want examples? Use the search function, search for all posts by Marketsurfer containing the keyword TA or Technical Analysis. Have fun wading through the hundreds of posts that should come up.
I'm pretty sure other members of this community will be wondering why I just stop here, many will have their favourite examples of why you are an absolute idiot, but I think enough has been stated about that.
I personally don't let your miserable behaviour trouble me, but you are too obtuse to recognise that there are many on ET who get upset and distressed by your constant attacks. Yes sunshine, news flash, people are different and some just want to have serious, peaceful discussions without your bullshit screwing things up. Some people have stopped posting, some have left, because they would rather do that than be subject to your constant, repetitive garbage. If you were sensitive enough, you would see in some of the responses to you, that there are people who are genuinely upset and wondering if you are trying to drive them away or just trying to destroy ET with your trolling.
What is truly ironic is the subject of self-moderation has come up to a large extent because of YOUR behaviour. I do not want to see self-moderation here, so if you would either learn to behave yourself or get lost, that would help.
