MOVIES about Trading

Quote from jficquette:

I thought about opening a trading room in San Diego with topless women explaining how to work the software etc.

John

It was pretty to done that.

In the late 90s a company called princeton trading opened and office and ran some tv ads on cnbc (in SD.) In the ads they had women dressed like hooters girls all over the guys who were trading. it was pretty funny.

But thats funny coming from you. Try selling some more crap on ET!

And I checked amazon and pbs..it's only available on VHS. I tossed out my VCR over a year ago.

you mean the $500.00 rare videos? Sorry, they are sold out.

:D

One day I'm gonna make a movie about trading. I bet the guy who wrote the script or the director for the film "Wall street" weren't actually traders.

Oliver Stone....his father was a stockbroker.

From the greatest horror flick of all time, The Exorcist:

"The demon is a liar. He will lie to confuse us. But he will also mix lies with the truth, to attack us. The attack is psychological, but powerful. So don't listen, remember that, do not listen."

Sums up the tape pretty well. Be afraid, always-in traders, be very afraid . . .

:D

I don't understand, if you're Oliver Stone, how can you let the anachronism of the Challenger explosion or "on the phone selling NASA stock short" stay in the movie and sleep at night? That's what happens when you take Hollywood money!
