Movie theater chain AMC just bought a stake in a tiny gold miner with a shaky financial history

AMC buys stake in Nevada gold miner Hycroft Mining (cnbc.com)

This honestly wreaks of a corporate pump and dump. I'm very curious to know how much of their stake is still left after this morning.

I wrote about the $2.50 call volume going nuts while common was $1.10-.13. AMC or the miner leaked.

Their float is listed at 60M shares. I dunno what it's going to be the next time they report it. Maybe 250M? Obviously a much harder stock to pump now. They kept pumping SNDL through big offerings though. The stock was a beautiful scalp. Maybe the last one I'll ever see lol.

Based on some SEC filings the last few days the current OS is just over 107 million. The number of authorized shares is also being increased from 400M to 1.4B.
