Movie theater chain AMC just bought a stake in a tiny gold miner with a shaky financial history

Exactly, the stake had nothing to do with any business related interest they may have.

Gotta admit that's very crafty of them!

SEE how it closes today\ $72 HI is a long way off:caution::caution:
Turned down again while i was typing.
I don't care where AMC's finishes today. I just think they used their meme status to participate in a piece of shit's pump and dump. From the looks of it plenty of retail traders got burned this morning thinking AMC knows how to invest in gold/silver mines while ignoring the news that they were dumping $500M worth of shares today. I mean I'm not complaining. I first shorted it at 9:30:14 at $2.68.

They're dumping their shares on a flock of clueless investors.

AMC declined to give an interview to CNBC today, because the volume of HYMC was too high today and their lawyers suggested they wouldn't. Not sure the stock's trading volume was a factor, but I have no doubt their lawyers did lol.

Seems to me they're taking their strats from the Chinese who do the same thing, using their cash reserves to buy high cash flow businesses to pad their earnings.

I have seen this unorthodox behavior before and generally it does not end well for the stock-holders. Good luck to the future bag-holders.... you may very well need it.

Their float is listed at 60M shares. I dunno what it's going to be the next time they report it. Maybe 250M? Obviously a much harder stock to pump now. They kept pumping SNDL through big offerings though. The stock was a beautiful scalp. Maybe the last one I'll ever see lol.
