Oh don't be your normal idiotic, argumentive self. The imagery used in this ad is not aimed at the subtleties of large central governments run amuck. The ad is ridiculously inflammatory and insensitive. And to think the left was bugged by Willie Horton. Is the strategic need for U.S. involvement in Iraq debatable? Of course. Should we debate whether the President over reacted to the threat of Saddam or even deceived the American public? That debate is proper. But there is no argument to be made that the goal of this war was IMMORAL. If one were to use the standard that the U.S. should never fight unless our own tangible self interests are at risk, then with the exception of fighting Japan(who we BEGGED to attack us) we would have NEVER been engaged anywhere since the Civil War.
What I find ironic is that many (not ALL) who oppose the war in Iraq are quasi socialists who ENDORSE the expansion of government. Well folks when you have big government this is what you get. To think that Clinton or Gore or Dean are more "peace loving" is a grave error. You want to talk about oppression. Have Dean bump your taxes to 45% and then don't pay. When your ass is sitting in Federal prison for 3 years you can argue about how the Democrats are libertarian freedom fighters.
Let me ask you something. I take it by your remarks that you are completely endorsing this ad by moveon.org. You seem to have no problem with it. Of course I'm going to explode when I see that ad. I have a mother that lived for 10 years in Nazi Germany. How do you expect me to react? How do you expect any Jewish person to react to this. This ad is so degrading and so less then human. I think this has to be a cry out for desperation.
There are many people I dislike in this world and god knows I am no fan of the democrats or the liberals, but never in a million years would I compare any liberal to Hitler. Never.
I can't believe the lengths that you people go to attack Bush. Can you not attack him on policy? Can you not attack him on the issues? Again, this is not to defend db's posts nor moveon.org, but all I was doing was pointing out the obvious contradiction of your professed statement and what you had actually done a mere 40 minutes earlier.
