The neocon republicans are hypocrites to be sure about this. But the base republicans quite naturally didn't want obama to strike syria because it looked like inevitable war quagmire given obama's statements and policies.
So call out the neocons all you want. Not the base, however.
At least Trump is not wasting time: less than 6 months in office, and already serious talks about bombing out of US official territories.
