Most traders are...
ambitious. We are an ambitious bunch because our pursuit is measured in numbers.
Trading is a game for grown-ups.
We interact with the mass consciousness without speaking to another individual (at least in execution, usually). We push buttons on a computer without necessarily producing a "real" result.
But hey, WHY NOT?
Since industrialization, fewer hands & minds are required for the procurement of food, water & shelter.
So what are the rest of us to do?
Work with our minds. We live in the New Age of Work.
I would also say most traders are at least moderately entrepreneurial.
