Not necessarily ... there might be more layoffs and/or reduced hours. Take Seatle, at $15/hour clearly some small companies will be hurting and have no choice other than to reduce headcount or hours worked.
 
You know, I'm not for that. I have no problem helping someone who is truly down and out. But you can't make it a permanent lifestyle choice. It has to be temporary. Able bodied people who get welfare should know it its not going to last forever. There has to be an incentive to get back to work.

And the bleeding heart leftists oppose this obvious common sense for one reason. It would cost them votes.
 
All that survey shows is that there are more Democrats earning a minimum wage than Republicans. Not surprising and somewhat telling.
