Guys guys guys

I am not saying go ahead and give up. But you gotta keep in mind on some level who and what kind of people you are up against.

For example Hedge fund manager who is into trading to the point of not having friends. (pic)

Or for example guys like me with extensive analytical ability ......and it's not easy even for me.

Just sayin...

Actually, most people can't even beat the market, let alone the pros. You can look at things from a "cost" sense to figure out how much skill you need to at least beat the former.

Which retail trader in this world pays "six figures in taxes to uncle sam every year"? You must be a total idiot to do so.

You'll have to confirm with him, but I'm pretty sure Neke paid 6 figure taxes the past 2 years.

*******

Well I had a friend I worked with and in 1982 he was paying 6 figures in income tax, I watched him write his check for his quarterly tax payments in the office for $25,000 and mail to the IRS. Blew my young mind away back then.
If you make it you gotta pay it.

Are you kidding? Are you so stupid as top believe that there are no traders trading for their own accounts who pay 6 figures in tax after taking all legal deductions? 6 figures is as low as $100K. Clearly you've never made enough money to have to figure out how much income you need to make to be paying $100K in income tax but here's a news flash for you - it isn't millions of dollars

Unbelievable levels of stupidity on these boards.
