I just checked IB margin for KOPSI on their site, and intra day margin is now 1/2 of overnight. It currently stands at around $7K.

I find this exiting, since it now frees up 1/2 of my capital.

Have you tried Nikkei SGX? Are N225's Osaka more liquid than the Singapore ones? Thank you!

No other futures on Asian indices rank among the top 50 most liquid contracts in the world. Now if you also consider index options, then Kospi 200 options are far and away the world's most liquid. Taiwan listed options are also reasonably liquid, but good luck getting access.

The thing about Nikkei is that it does not move much. If you needs an index future that has decent thickness, 1 tick spread and good moves, KOSPI is unmatchanble.

you have the mini osaka nikkei, nikkei osaka, SGX nikkei , all are wired in with autospreaders . the most liquid in asia.

for sure Kospi, extremely liquid. The options are also very liquid.
