I came across this chart on a different forum ... I have no idea what any of this represents, but it sure is very pretty.

I had backlight posters like that when I was a teen.

maybe, just maybe, you would get more participation on these poll threads you like to open...IF...you also explained what would be your choices. settings. strategy. challenges. summarize and old gem thread. whatever. vs the continuous vacuum sucking sounds. tell me tell me. (empty space)

intrigue us for a change.
I guess I should of also put fibs, and a few others.

I trade on price action and volume profiles.

Mine indicates trend.

But why use a derivative of price to show you a trend? If price has upward prints, that is trend depending on how often you check the tape, and vice versa.

Precision. I can measure trend to a degree that the eyeball crowd can only dream about. :D

I have no idea what "upward prints" are, but trend always depends on the time frame you're measuring it in. So what? That happens to be the same time frame I'm trading in, so there's hardly any incompatibilty.

you dont analyze level 2, 3 or maybe volume though

I don't know why, but I lawld when I read that you too have no idea what upward prints are. Maybe he means prints/trades that occur at or above the ask?

Also, I would be just fine if I never heard such an ill-defined term such as price action ever again!

That said, I found this poll interesting.

christmas tree indicator........nice

One should never put an indicator into a trading algorithm except if one has enough money to lose :D

but hey.. what should we do without the money that constantly flows into the market from all the dreamers.
