I heard a while back that people are most happy when virtually all of their daily needs are within a 2-mile radius of their home.
On a side note, the amount of ads and clickbait on that NY Post site is just ridiculous. The CPU fan on my computer starts spooling up within 5 seconds of being on that site.

It's the natural order for a society trained and bread for the pursuit of happiness, the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. The satisfaction of finishing first.
