I just came back from vacation to Moscow a few weeks ago.

then why you ask us about opinion? you should know everything already. opportunities,salary,requrements,cost of living,security etc..

I want to compare if my experiences were common or just my first imressions. I needed to hear from some one who is living there right now who is from the West. I dont know why some one would respond to my thread if he left 10 years ago.

because nothing change(exept moscow) there in 10 years.
i spend at least a hour every week on phone with my friends and i believe that i do know something about life in russia. i also point you to forum, where you can find many russian traders (from moscow too) and talk to them about your ideas)))

your expirience can't be common, just because all people are different. for guy from china-it's a paradise, for guy from dubai-it's dirty village..))))))))
