Yes, and I'm referring you back to my original question and comment (which you still have not come to terms with) that says that statistics today are NOTHING like what they were in Soviet times because Russians are not required to post data, and frequently shy away from any question answering whatsoever - because they are afraid it will lead them to trouble. So market data gathers (like IRI and Neilsen) who do so well in the West are continually struggling for a picture of Russia. They, themselves admit there is no way to get an accurate view within the current infrastructure.

See, you're too busy trying to stuff half-assed stats down our throat that you still haven't addressed that point. But again, you'll just post some link that sights no sources again, or are we to believe the "Moscow Psychiatry Institute" has access to the country's data when large multi-million corps that specialize in data gathering cannot get it? My point was that it was not an accurate test. It was a joke of a census test where people could fill out whatever they want, if they wanted to. And Russian's do not fill out data unless forced to (which is why the Soviets always had accurate data, they just didn't want to admit the truths). Why do you think the census guy in the article complained about being beaten, had dogs set on him and had people EAT their census tests? Hahah...that's not a test, and you cannot acertain accuracy from such stupidity. Well, YOU can, but the rest of the human race cannot.

Just because the article leans in the direction you WANT it to does not make it fact. That's something you still need to learn. I'll bet - if you are a trader at all - you're one of those traders that only reads the news you feel backs up your position, and all those running contrary are "crap". Am I in the ballpark?

The soviet statistics was valid based on your own admission, according to it 40% of russian men were alcoholics in the 80s and everyone on this planet except you knows that things have not improved since then, they have actually got worse. Hantuchova is not russian, she is Slovakian, I do like her though. Sharapova irritates the hell out of me, I am not sure why.
