Although Trump leads in most of the polls...
They are in panic mode because the economy continues to improve & surprise...average hourly wage and real wage continue to improve although the real wage is still below the average hourly wage.
In addition, Haley is putting pressure on Trump in that she's picked up the rhetoric in attacking him but only after he's attacked her on a personal level...essentially she believes she's the better candidate for the RNC to put up against Biden.
Trump currently has 33 delegates versus Haley's 17 delegates with South Carolina coming up on February 24th, Saturday. Haley doesn't need to win but she must keep it close...less than a 20 percentage point difference to be able to continue putting pressure on Trump especially if the economy continues to improve after coming out of a Pandemic/High Inflation.

It’s almost hard to believe the economy can “improve” because we are hitting on almost all cylinders right now. Even areas like manufacturing are up and running right now.
And what nobody wants to hear is that the biggest cyclical problem on the horizon is actually deflation. The dollar is strong and virtually every one of our main trading partners is struggling right now. We are actually too dominant right now. So much so that the international competition to get back into the American market can flood us.
And I get that people, not saying you in particular, see the prospect of deflation and think great lower prices but that reek’s havoc on inventories, putting businesses upside down and needing to take cost cutting measures. And the first place to cut costs is jobs, then benefits.
The Fed needs to be careful with these interest rates. The consensus seems to have gone from rate cut in March to rate cut in May but that could be a real problem with the dollar so strong and American market looking like King Kong.
I doubt that,or they certainly shouldn't be.Dems had the economy in really good shape in 2016,far better then this bullshit now Dems are trying to sell now, and unlike now the majority Americans said the economy was good and said Obama was doing a good job on it.Same in 2000.
While the economy was good in 2016 Trump won,because the economy is not a top issue for progressives and blacks.It could be a really good economy like 2000 or 2016 and Biden would still lose because progressives and blacks do not like Biden just as they did not like Gore and Hillary,and we hate Biden even more than Gore and Hillary.

Look “bro” no president can fix everybody’s life but if you are in reasonable position with an advanced education or a skill there is zero doubt you can succeed in this economy virtually all across the country. Some of the biggest growth happening right now is in a lot of the historically depressed areas of America, southern states and Midwest.
If you continue to impose a mindset of defeat on yourself and lots of other people like you, you are going to miss the boat.
Numbers don’t lie, people do. Now is the time to find a better paying job, start a business and build some wealth and security. But if you’re stuck, you’re going to stay stuck no matter how well or poor the economy is doing.
The problem with the “good old days” is people don’t realize they were actually in them until after they pass.

2.The people with the mindset problem are you,your fellow Biden supporters and Biden.Obama and Clinton had high marks on the economy because the economy was in fact good under their presidencies.You and Biden telling people who know the difference between now and when Obama and Trump was president that everything is great and its just their mindsets will continue to get you what you have gotten the last 2 years...
