Well a phenomenon like that only occurs in a Bretton-Woods recession. Americans haven't felt a REAL recession in a few decades, they no longer understand its meaning. Even the 'poor' in America are so obese that illegal immigrants from foreign countries have to do the work for them. Americans think that a recession only means less spending, but still feel entitled to all of the government services and a generous social climate without civil unrest, the creditors of America have a far greater understanding of what a real recession is.
