Let's take a look at an image of recent milk prices in grocery stores in Canada. There are plenty of others available showing the current pricing of milk in Canada.

You are clueless what the price of milk in Canada. I could list dozens of retailers who have 4L at $4.99 or less right now. Even the Beckers corner store where everything is usually overpriced has 4L right now for $4.99. Lacantia is some "organic" or "pure" premium brand.

The real story here is the continued evidence about the personality disorder you have that compels you to post this nonsense on here and hang onto your ideas like a cat in heat. It makes you look extremely ignorant. It would probably put you in great pain to just admit you are misinformed and a long term resident of Toronto might know more then you do about Toronto.

You are an idiot. Lacantia is a a premium brand. You just don't give up on your infantile themes do you ? Are you questioning that Walmart Canada is not a significant retailer here ?
I can find 4L of milk at $4.99 or less anywhere in the city. Even the corner store ( Beckers ) has 4L at $4.99 right now. If one shops at a large supermarket, and there are plenty within a short drive of my house, you can get plenty of groceries including milk on sale or at everyday low prices.

You can go pull up many recent Ads and pictures showing similar pricing in articles and supermarket advertisements for milk in Canada easily on the Internet.

Why don't you post a few recent pictures from Canada supporting your assertions about milk prices in stores. Go down to Beckers and post a picture. Do something for the first time ever on ET to support your assertions.

I posted a live price on Walmart Canada, their regular price, right up front.

The local supermarket has all the following choices : https://www.nofrills.ca/Food/Dairy-and-Eggs/Milk-&-Cream/2%-&-Whole-Milk/plp/NFR001005005005?navid=2-whole-milk . Neilson 2% 4L bag is a very common purchase for Canadians; $4.55 everyday price.

There is something seriously wrong with you. I am under no obligation to prove anything to you. However, your posts are so absurd I decided to put this to bed and highlight why you are an extremely bad source of information on this site.

Gallon of milk down here is $1.99 or less everyday if you look around. $2.59 tops if you don't give a f*ck.
Thats a big difference percentage-wise....
Now look at these numbers. This is ONE state. 3.5 Billion gallons/year of milk. 3.1 Billion lbs. of cheese. We have excess capacity. Want fair trade(?)... knock off the protectionism and let our dairy come into your country. You'll save money ace. Duh.

This is quite amusing... The link you provided proves my point. No matter which province I select the prices of milk are 100% or more higher than in the U.S.

Let's establish the standard for comparing milk prices - it is whole milk. not 1% or 2% milk. Let's compare the same product appropriately.

In Canada - when selecting Ontario in your ad - the price of whole milk is Neilson Homo Milk (1 L) $2.97 ea. In the U.S. I can easily get an entire gallon (4 L) of whole milk for $2.97 or less. Fortunately - the store also has an option to purchase Neilson homo Milk in 4L bag for merely $5.55.

If you are going to try to claim that milk in Canada is not nearly 2X the price or more than in the U.S. -- then there is really no use in having a discussion when you dispute (once again) what is an obvious fact.

The US has elected one of the biggest believers in protectionism in the Western World. Canada has been far more flexible to fair trade then the US, but we weren't going to cave to your idiot leader or Americans in general on any of this. All I see on here is Americans claiming wins left, right and center and I don't believe your life has gotten materially better for many of you since 2008. I do wonder if the next recession is going to be particularly devastating to the psyche of your nation and the financial stability for many of your people. If it all works out for you enjoy it; Toronto is a sweet spot in the economy right now so we're doing fine.

So what does any of this have to do with the price of milk.

Just admit you are wrong and I am right about the facts... and we can move on.
