More Winning: AT&T to Lay Off Up to 1400 Employees Just Before Christmas

So the deal was that Obama bought a house in 2005 for a 100 grand discount and in 1997, he wrote LETTERS in favor of a project. No power to approve any deals, just letters and that's the 'deal'. So this deal took eight years to develop for a 100 grand payoff for just some letters. Agreed, this doesn't pass the smell test of a shady deal.

I kept it simple for you but again I overestimate people's ability to put 2+2 together.
You do know that Rezko was a big time Obama fundraiser, right? Especially as Obama started.

And if you understood a little bit more you would be able to piece together that the house and lot were one parcel. Obama couldn't afford it as one parcel, so magically the owner decided to split the parcel-with the stipulation they both close on the same day to different buyers LOL, and just who wants the newly formed vacant parcel? But of course, Mrs. Rezko.

And you thought it was a 100K favor. So blind.

The problem is the timeline, if Rezko was doing Obama favors and all you could list is a favor 8 years after the 'letter' which had zero authority, what exactly is the deal here. If you got something more concrete, let me know, influence peddling is hardly a crime, I want to see actual corruption.

No, you don't actually because any corruption on your side is justified by some greater good gobbledy gook

Let's even give you that, that Obama wrote a letter in 1997 to get benefits in 2005 from a businessman - if that's your standard, why would you support someone like Trump who is thoroughly corrupt, paid out settlements for scam, screwed employees and businesses and is now using his office to personally benefit himself.

This is what I don't get, you guys cry about Democratic corruption and lies but have absolutely zero problems for supporting even worse corruption and lies when it happens under a Republican. The tax bill that you want to label an 'achievement' is absolute corruption written by lobbyists and Trump's family lawyers. Why would anyone take your Obama claims seriously while you simultaneously support Trump.

As usual, leftists have zero comprehension as to how businesses work.

Again, this is funny coming from a Trump supporter who had to run scams like a fake university after bankrupting himself many times. He had to rely on Russians and the mob to get funding after he blew up during a real estate boom. And isn't the world's richest man a leftist?

It's sad that you don't see the difference between an elected official, put in place to do the public's work and collect a salary from the public coffers, who sells his position of power and influence and a private citizen running many successful businesses.

Do you think there are any individuals or vendors who have screwed Trump? Or does it only go one way in your mind?

How many settlements has Trump paid in dollars? How many bankruptcies has he had? How many employees has he paid wages to over the years? How many successful businesses has/does he have?

Context my friend. Obama did nothing but get groomed for politics.

First, Obama wrote a letter, he didn't make any decisions, he didn't have authority to make any decisions. And to say that for that letter, he got a pay off years later makes no sense.

Secondly, Trump didn't only screw other businesses, he screwed poor individuals for no fault of their own. This is from one of the court documents

But that's besides the point, he is using his power now brazenly to enrich himself and his family. His only legislative achievement is the most example of blatant corruption every by a sitting President and I am including Nixon who did things because of his paranoia and not for any monetary gains.
