Lara Trump, the former president’s daughter-in-law and wife to his son Eric, is being considered to receive his endorsement, the Times reported Monday.
Three people told the Times that R.N.C. general counsel Michael Whatley is Trump’s top choice but that he is also considering Lara, according to the report.
Lara Trump has proven able when it comes to raising funds as is her loyalty to the family, the Times reports.
Trump campaign and Republican National Committee representatives did not respond to the Times’ requests for comment.
