More things change the more things remain the same

Quote from AK Forty Seven:

Yes,unfortunately he has expenses like the Bush tax cuts,Bushs wars,Bushs medicare expansion,Bushs growth of government etc to pay for

Its not like Obama came into office with a balanced budget and turned it into trillion dollar deficits and doubled the national debt...like Bush did

Don't forget the 800 million he wants to give to the "Arab spring" countries.
You know the ones that will become Islamo fascist nations that hate the US.

I hear even his own party is embarrassed about that one.

So where is the promised "Change" then?

Obama is just more of the same, of what you supposedly despise.

So if nothing has changed, why is this president a "radical socialist"?

Wasn't the last one as well? According to IQ47 he gave a Billion to Halliburton. Corporate socialism?

Quote from Ricter:

Even so, the projected deficit fits right on the graph you presented.

While he could have done better considering what he inherited he is doing a pretty good job imo

Romney is promising more tax cuts, more defense spending and a more aggressive foreign policy but the righties think he would do better:confused:

Ok, for the sake of argument, let's assume Bush and Obama are equally "radical socialists". ABO loses credence in that context.

Isn't that how a present day (Latter Day?) Right Winger would "pay" for everything? More tax cuts. Worked for Bush, eh?

Quote from Brass:

Worked for Bush, eh?

Reagan too  .Carter left him a nearly balanced budget and less then a trillion in national debt and he and Bush Sr turned it into record deficits and more then tripled the national debt
