Otherwise... every time I walk down the street in Miami and there are a hundred people following me - I would have the right to punch each & everyone of them. Sorry this is not how the law works. I only have the right to defend myself if I am PHYSICALLY assaulted. I do not have the right to punch or assault someone if they follow me, or yell at me, or I simply don't like the way they look. The only exception to this rule is if you have a legal protection order against a particular individual.

There is a difference between being followed and being chased.Martin wasn't being followed by a crowd of people in the daytime on a crowded Miami street,he was being followed by a strange guy at night.Martin had no right to hit Zimmer when he was following him in his car,once Z got out of his car and starting RUNNING after him any person would be afraid for their safety and have the right to defend themselves.
Martin tried to avoid the situation by running ,Z was the aggressor,Martin had the right to defend himself imo

Maybe you need to stop making up your own facts... and evaluate the existing facts (aka reality) in the same way that a jury would before spouting opinions publicly.
